GRASP
LINDON SHIMIZU
GRASP is a choreographic research project that celebrates plural, diverse bodies through a fleshy and poetic language of movement. Emerging from a hybrid of cultural, social and somatic influences, the work draws on Brazilian Antropofagia, Judo, Playfight and Body-Mind Centering® to develop a dance vocabulary that affirms movement, touch, organ-muscularity, sounding and joy as radical communal acts.
