UNIA

MP-kollektiivi

An interactive dance and media art work

UNIA is a place where familiar soft objects associated with sleep come to life. The piece invites audiences to marvel at different kinds of transformations and to encounter gentle, rounded creatures who guide them into a playful and surprising world. You are welcome to attend UNIA in your pyjamas and bring along a favourite soft toy.

UNIA is a new work for children and families by the MP Collective, continuing the Framing series (2020–), which explores immersive worlds. UNIA plays with the collision of movement, tactile materials, sound, and live projection, examining how these elements can function as participatory and reactive components for the audience.

The work UNIA will be performed at the Children’s Cultural Centre Färi, Timantti teatteri on 25 January 2026 at 3:00 pm.
Recommended age: 2–6 years (with accompanying adults)
Duration: 40 minutes

The performance is non-verbal and suitable for audiences of all language backgrounds.
